Key Stage 2 Assessments

The 2016 Key Stage 2 Assessments are the first which assess the new, more challenging national curriculum. Nationally, outcomes for 2016 are not comparable to those for previous years because expectations for pupils at the end of Key Stage 2 have been raised. Nationally, 53% of pupils achieved the expected level in Reading, Writing and Mathematics combined, compared with 80% across the country in 2015.
